Faith Academy was founded by Pastor Bill and Breta Norton.  Their service to home schooling began with their three sons in the founding of South Bay Baptist Academy in Torrance, California in 1983.  South Bay Baptist Academy became South Bay Faith Academy and continues to serve the Los Angeles South Bay area.

With Bill and Breta's move to Lake Arrowhead in 1987, Faith Academy Lake Arrowhead came into being.  Bill's experience as a California state credentialed teacher, a pastor for 11 years, and a home schooling father provides a depth of experience for Faith Academy.
